• The entire house has been cleaned 

• Overhead lights, lamps, and ceiling fans switched ON.

• All light bulbs are operational or replaced, and same temperature/type

• Ceiling fans, televisions, and monitors turned OFF

• Blinds/window treatments opened to let in outside light

• Personal photographs removed or hidden, and shoes/jackets hidden

• Beds made and any small floor rugs removed to reveal actual flooring

• Garage doors closed and cars removed from driveway and front of home

• Landscaping cleaned up and cobwebs removed from eaves and door frames

• Visible water hoses, toys, sporting equipment removed or hidden

• Porch/patio cleaned, tidy up outdoor tables/chairs/cushions (pillows/cushions not faded)

• Pool cleaned, and vacuum/robot/hoses/cleaning supplies removed

• Pool fountains/water features turned on

• Visible water hoses, trash cans, toys, and sporting equipment removed or hidden

• Countertops cleared completely. 

• No more than one small appliance (ex. coffee maker) left out.

• Outside of the refrigerator clear of magnets, papers, photos, etc.

• Garbage cans hidden in pantry or closet

• Dishes removed from sink/placed in dishwasher

• Table cleared/table top dusted and polished

• Decorative place setting used if available

• One centerpiece featured (bouquet of flowers, candle, etc.)

• Chairs straightened and spaced evenly

• Child seats/booster chairs removed or hidden

• Magazines, papers, mail, etc. removed or hidden

• Fireplace mantel/hearth de-cluttered 

• Interior of fireplace cleaned and re-paint if needed

• Furniture pillows fluffed and arranged

• Children’s’ toys removed or hidden

• All bed linens and bed skirts pressed

• Dressers, nightstands cleared of personal items

• Phone/tablet charging cables hidden or removed

• Under bed area cleaned, items removed that may show in the photos

• Personalized names/wall stickers/posters removed from walls

• Diaper genies removed

• Under bed area cleaned, items removed that may show in the photos

• Countertops cleaned completely. 

• Toilet seats put down, dirty towels/clothes removed or hidden, and floor mats removed

• Shampoo, soap, loofahs, etc. removed from showers and tubs

• Food and water bowls placed in pantry or closet

• Pet beds/toys placed in pantry or closet

• Lint roller used on furniture to remove pet hair

• Pets contained in hidden crate or outside

• Backyard cleared of pet waste/toys
